Consisting of 5 positions (Chair of the Board, Chair-Elect, Secretary, Treasurer, and the immediate past-chair), the Executive Committee shall have charge of all budget and finance matters of the Chamber, subject to the approval of the Board of Directors, be charged with the responsibility of submitting a proposed program of work annually (budget) for approval by the Board of Directors.
Economic Development Committee
Responsible for the oversight of the economic development mission and goals of the Chamber to attract, engage, and retain vibrant business and industry to the community. The Committee shall personally engage with perspective business leaders to promote Harrison and Boone County for their location.
Development (Finance) Committee
Responsible for the oversight and governance of the financial condition of the Chamber and shall assist the Board in recognizing and securing available financial resources to further growth of the Chamber.
Government Affairs Committee
Responsible for identifying issues and causes that reflect the vision and values of the Chamber and recommends to the Board an appropriate response to each and developing the strategy to then deploy said response. The Committee shall also create opportunities to strengthen the Chamber's relationships with local, county, state, and national elected officials, and provide/host public forums on issues of importance to its investors and the broad community stakeholders.
Marketing & Communications Committee
Responsible for assisting in the development of the strategy for and providing oversight to the promotion of the Chamber and it's mission. Working with the Chamber staff, counsels use of various media outlets and types, content development and delivery, brand deployment and consistent usage and the overall marketing and communications strategy.
