Q: What’s the best piece of career advice you’ve ever received? A: Work hard and be nice to people. We have this on a banner hanging in our office, and we try to practice it daily. Q: When you’re not working, how do you enjoy spending your time?
A: We enjoy spending time with our family. We have two grown daughters living in NWA, and we enjoy visiting them. Our youngest is a senior in high school, and we enjoy watching her play golf. We also like to travel and see new places. Q: What’s one skill you’d like to develop or sharpen this year? A: Human resource management, specifically employee appreciation. Since Covid hit last year, everyone in our company has been working so hard and pitching in to make sure we take care of customers and provide for our families. Our business has really grown in the last couple of years, and we have a great team. Sometimes it’s hard to take time and show appreciation for each other (individually and as a group). We’d love to learn what other businesses do to show appreciation to their employees. Q: What characteristic do you admire most in others? A: Honesty and a good work ethic.
