Boone County Leadership applications open today. On Tuesday we'll celebrate ribbon cuttings at Marie’s Restaurant and On Eagle’s Wings Leadership Center. Thursday the Be Pro Be Proud Truck will be at North Arkansas College all day giving tours and virtual reality for our future workforce. National Signing Day for Career and Technical Education Northark starting at 1:00 PM on Thursday at the JPH Center.

PLUS Wilson Marseilles got to visit with Ron Hutchcraft and Nick Liew at the On Eagles’ Wings Leadership Center in anticipation for their ribbon cutting on April 18th.

We’re pleased to report the first quarter of 2023 continues to demonstrate the momentum and growth that our Harrison-Boone County community has experienced the past two-plus years. The numbers tell the story.

Since January of 2019 through the end of March, we’re aware of over $158 million dollars in new capital investment. That’s dollars spent expanding our manufacturing base, educational facilities, and transportation infrastructure. It’s existing small business expansion and new retail and service offerings coming to town. It’s new quality of life enhancements throughout the community, providing enjoyment for residents and visitors alike.

Grand Opening: Pioneer Wilderness Bike Trail

The trail is a joint effort between North Arkansas College, Boone County and the Boone County Extension Service, HEART (Harrison Exercise, Adventure and Recreational Trails), the City of Harrison and the Convention and Visitors Bureau, Harrison schools, the Walton Family Foundation, NICA Arkansas and many other individuals and businesses in our community.
