Trish and Wilson talk about some of their common connections through the state chamber and the Governor's Quality Award, as well as some lessons learned by Trish through this grant and the Biz Assist workshops the state chamber is coordinating around the state with local panelists.

#9 Delbert McCutcheon, NARMC + Donation to Harrison High School

On this episode of the Taking Care of Business Podcast, Delbert McCutcheon, the Director of Employee Education at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center joins us to talk about the recent donation to Harrison High School for their CNA Program. Delbert has been in healthcare education for 20+ years and was nominated by the state as an Outstanding Nurse Educator for 2023. Delbert and Wilson talk about workforce development and growing the talent pipeline for healthcare in our region with hands on experience and real equipment in the high school that the hospital has furnished.

Community Service Inc. offers a variety of programs, including prevention and education, therapeutic foster care, day treatment, substance abuse treatment, mental health treatment, youth leadership program, youth advocate program, First Tee, youth drug court, and juvenile justice. Last year more than 1,500 youths were helped.
