Several scenic drives wind through the Ozark National Forest, including Arkansas Highway 7, which is designated as one of the 10 most scenic drives in the United States, and is Arkansas' first National Scenic Byway. Canoeing, fishing and other water activities abound at the Buffalo National River, 15 minutes south; the White River, 50 minutes east for trout fishing; Bull Shoals Lake, 25 minutes north; Table Rock Lake, 25 minutes north, both offer water skiing and fishing. Within an hour's drive north from Harrison is booming Branson, Missouri and Victorian Eureka Springs located to the west.
