Incentives and TrainingInformation on the available programs can be accessed at http://www.arkansasedc.com/. The Harrison Economic Development Committee will work with prospects to secure the cooperation of city, county and state government in the installation of necessary infrastructure. The Team will also coordinate the various Chamber of Commerce committees (such as Industrial Development, Governmental Affairs, Education and Executive) in providing assistance to prospects. There is available land in the Boone County Industrial Park managed by the Boone County Industrial Development Corporation. The Team will also assist in the efforts to procure state or federal loans or grants and contacts with local financial institutions, as well as working with local government in support of Industrial Revenue Bonds, Enterprise Zone application, or other related issues. The Arkansas Economic Development Commission coordinates State assisted specific workforce training. We have excellent training facilities locally, working through a partnership with the Arkansas Employment Security Division, Arkansas Workforce Center and the North Arkansas College. Low cost site preparation is provided through the construction training department of North Arkansas College, with assistance from the Boone County Industrial Development Corporation. State Enterprise Zone incentives are provided locally, and state guaranteed low interest financing is available through the Arkansas Development Finance Authority. Other local incentives include:
