2023-2024 Boone County Leadership Institute Class Announced

Harrison, AR, July 25, 2023.  Jim Holland, Chair of the Harrison Regional Chamber of Commerce and President, Phillips Media, will lead a round of welcome remarks to Class XXXV of the Boone County Leadership Institute (BCLI) on Tuesday, August 8th. BCLI – presented by Kinetic by Windstream for the fifth year – will get underway at the Signature Bank Community Room with the seventeen participants and their supervisors and managers learning what is in store for the group of emerging leaders over the next eight months.  

Holland will join Boone County Judge Robert Hathaway, Harrison Mayor Jerry Jackson, and Windstream Vice President of Government Relations David Avery in welcoming the group to the program. Participant managers and supervisors are also encouraged to attend.  

BCLI Class XXXV participants are Bobbi Edwards, Bridgette Johnson, Donald York, and Matthew Farris of FedEx Freight; Brian Byrd, Jake Gray State Farm; Cheryl Keymer, Signature Bank; Diego Rubio Ramos, Wabash; Erika Evans, TitleNet Solutions; Josh Fisher, Weichert, Realtors - Market Edge; Kayla Jones, Stone Bank; Lauren Loggins, North Arkansas Regional Medical Center; Laura Martin, CS Bank; Natalie Ward, Anstaff Bank; Rita Rogers, North Arkansas College; Shana King, Northwest Arkansas Economic Development District; Travis Garner, Claridge Products & Equipment; and Taff Grice, Ozark Opportunities.

During the program, participants will engage with government and business leaders and other entities that make up Harrison and Boone County, including a three-day trip to Little Rock for the 4H Center’s ExCEL Course and meeting with the Governor and other state officials in September.

Class XXXV will also engage with BCLI alumni throughout the year’s program. Graduation is planned during the Chamber’s Annual Meeting and Awards Luncheon, March 12, 2024.
